Seems to work just fine on a Trek Fx3 with v-brakes. I know there’s a similar model that’s sized for 29er and 700c wheels, but I don’t think that’s the one I ended up with. It works with my 700c quick release rear wheel in either case. The rubber-coated blades just barely reach up into the crevice between the frame and the rear wheel hub, but that seems to be enough to keep the bike standing. If the front wheel, which is unsecured, turns, it makes the bike kind of lean over a bit, but it still manages to stay upright.Lifting the bike up and out of the stand can be awkward, I guess. The stand tends to wobble around and reposition itself on the floor after you lift out. If you’ve got a rear basket on the bike and you’re intending to put cargo in it, you have to wait until after you lift the bike off the stand, or else it’s a bit of a struggle. It’s an elegantly minimal solution that requires no drilling or unscrewing, and doesn’t take up much floor space. I think you could get similar results out of a frame-mounted kickstand at the same cost or less, however, and it would be more portable too. But that would require some wrench work or additional labor cost, whereas the BIKEHAND Rear Hub Stand is entirely ready to go the moment it arrives.
The Truth –
The only thing I dislike is I didn’t buy it sooner. The plastic rear wheel holder I had before used to tough and throw my derailer out of adjustment so badly I couldn’t ride without taking massive time to readjust the derailer. This products top part exists solely on the left side of the rear axle so it will never mess up your derailer. A stand that touches the right side of your rear axle is now deserving to be extinct. The weighty enough base goes under the rear tire and holds the bike firmly. It won’t tip. It’s a flawless design. This is an excellent bike stand that weighs enough to hold your bike securely just by placing the left end of your rear axle between its two “finger” like protrusions.I have no affiliation with this company, I just think its a great bike stand.

I think this is a great stand for any bike. I’ve been looking for something that has good quality, I’m glad that I settled on this one.

This was a well piece of metal but I didn’t like to very loose fit on to the axel. it had too much slop for my bike and didn’t fit well on my Dura-Ace wheels but might fit your axel better if it’s thicker.

Really no explanation needed, it’s a solid peice and holds up very well and adds a bit of color to the room
