I also have the Dakine straps, and they are not nearly as good as these. The bands are flimsy, and I suspect they won’t make a year. These, while not as stylish as BD and Dakine’s which are a translucent strap, are functionally better IMO. [I also have a single BD one, and it’s also better than the Dakine version – but doesn’t seem as bomber as Voile’s. However, it’s survived a couple of years, so it’s not junk either.]In short, the Voile’s are, IMO, the best version of this strap available. I purchased several together, and shipping was combined – which made an expensive shipping cost more palatable. [These DON’T cost anywhere near eight bucks to ship!] But if you buy half a dozen, it works out to only add a little more than a dollar each – and that’s cheaper than I can buy them from the local mountain store, and they arrive at my door. [Yeah, I know, I need to thin the quiver a bit, eh?!]Buy them long and they’re useful for more than just bundling up your skis. The best bomber strap at a good price. 10/10

Adding voile straps to my cargo bike and bike packing set up has been a complete game changer. I use them to strap cans of beer to my bike, I use them to strap other bikes on to my bike and Iβve used them to strap a notebook on to the side of my bike rack. They are absolutely incredible and I want them in every size and in every color. I only wish they were available on Amazon prime.

This strap is made from a very rugged rubber and definitively won’t break on you. The way it grabs onto the latch is questionable at first, but if pulled tight you can see that it won’t be coming undone easily.

I saw a review of these straps on a Bike Packing YouTube video. The reviewer gave them high marks for durability and ease of use, so I thought I’d give them a try. I had been using bungie cords (elastic cords with hooks on the end) and velcro straps for securing my bikes on the bike rack for long trips. I can now retire those awful bungie cords and reduce my use of the velcro straps! These Voile straps are very easy to use and are great for securing the wheels in place. Anywhere you might use the bungie cords, you should be able to use these straps. Great purchase!

If I could do it again I would pick the nylon buckle as it is a smoother material.

Not sure why you would use anything else

I bought a pair of the shorter straps that work great I need it longer straps this time for a cargo bag and bought these. Really sensational product.
