I was getting tired of moving bikes around and when they were hung up, either hard to get to or took up too much space sticking out from wall. I saw these in my Amazon “you might also like” feed and gave them a try thinking I could ‘nest’ several bikes together in a smaller amount of wall space. The ad was using road bikes, which make sense with handles bars not as wide as mountain bikes. While the old adage is to measure twice, but once this install requires a bit more simulation. I’m one to measure out and sketch all the dimensions before drilling. Even with this approach, I ended up moving the brackets a few times for each bike because of the pedal anchor and how the bike shifts once the peal is bearing weight. It will move to the right or left, not sit straight up. Ultimately I used a ladder to hold the bike in place while I aligned the tire brackets and the pedal anchor.Note bottom bike is offset from top bike. This was necessary for overlap of handles bars to top bike’s frame. If I could do it again, I would have alternated direction of bikes, which I believe would have allowed them to be closer together (top to bottom) on the wall.Even so, I do love this storage approach. The parts that stick out from the wall are above our heads (I’m 5′ 10″). My bike in on bottom, which is most used. It is really easy to lift if off and on the brackets settling into pedal anchor. My wife’s is least used, so having to get a step ladder out for that one is not an issue. Its also a more natural way to take the bike on and off the wall, versus vertical hanging systems.Highly recommend!

Great product that is easy to install.1. With a stud finder locate a stud on the desired wall. (Make sure to test the stud finder on yourself first to make sure itβs accurate)2. On the stud install the pedal holder using the long screws.3. Attach the bike and level it as desired then with a pencil trace the bottom of the tire on the wall.4. Using the above traces lines from step 3 install the tire stop.Thatβs it, no extra holes no ruined walls no crooked looking bike! Please note: I would not trust any type of drywall to hold any bike, if you donβt plan to install the PEDAL holder (which Carrieβs the weight of the bike) on the stud then do not buy this item! Both tire stops can be installed on drywall as they are mainly for the purpose of keeping you bike leveled.

This is a good product for hanging a bike. Easy to install, easy to use and the angel of how the bike hangs makes for an efficient use of space. My only issue for not giving it 5 stars is the heads of the screw in wall anchors stripped out as soon as they started digging in. I had to substitute some others I had.

I put this up yesterday in my bedroom using only the plaster wall anchors for all three contact point including the pedal hook. I have a lightweight bike so I am confident it will hold with gentle use. It works pretty well and keeps the bike up off the floor space so the roomba and keep clean underneath it. It sticks out from the wall a little on her side of the bed but she hasn’t been coming around like she used to . I love my bike.

I started with 3 and am up to 5 of these – the concept is great and with as many bikes as I have collected over a lifetime of riding needed a way to get them up and out of the way.First install can be a bit tricky – no matter how many times you measure, you won’t get a feel for it until the bikes go up. But by then, you’ve drilled and marked up your wall. My advice here is to just have spackle and touch up paint for the wall and just know theres a bit of trial and error. Secondly, the supplied screws are very poor. They will strip and you’ll be getting creative to remove them if you have to – and you likely will at some point. (I had to use a locking pliers to remove a few of them). My advice here is to buy some quality wood/deck screws in black with t25 heads and problem solved!

Purchased 4 and now have all the bikes out of the way. Not the easiest thing to install, but they couldn’t have made it any easier. Comes with everything you’ll need other than an impact driver for driving screws into studs.
