I am absolutely impressed with this gorgeous bike! Due to a knee injury I was riding my mountain bike like a cruiser. My husband noticed and suggest that I actually buy a Cruiser. GREAT advice! After quite a bit of research the Firmstrong had my vote of confidence due to the great reviews already written about it. They weren’t kidding! The quality of the bike is excellent. The paint (mint green) is a gorgeous color. I ordered the fenders and they are a perfect match. The bike arrived in perfect condition and was packed with care. No dings, no problems. Shipping was fast. Husband put it together in an afternoon while I was gone. He didn’t realize that I had an email from Beachbikes to help him with the gears. He did have to spend some time adjusting it but said the info offered from the seller would have been enough to speed that process. It shifts easily. It handles like a DREAM! The 7 speeds offer enough variety of gears for me to make it up the hills in our area. The Cruiser style is perfect for those of us that want to ride a bike more like a motorcycle, or sitting in a chair. The guys in my family all ride (expensive) mountain bikes so I wasn’t expecting much with a “lower end” priced bike. The Urban Lady exceeded my expectations in quality, style, comfort (even the seat is amazing!) and customer service from beachbikes. I’m looking forward to a continue in weight loss, an increase in health and definitely having fun on my Firmstrong Urban Lady!

First off, I never write reviews, so that’s how much this bike impacted us. My daughter needed a new bike and after lots of searching, we decided that this bike was the winner. The key things that won us over was that it was a coaster brake (pedal backwards to brake) and it had a great seat and was a 3 speed. Of course, the blue color was tops on my daughter’s list too.The shock for me was when I received the email from the Beachbikes retailer that my “mint green” bike order was received. After confirming that the wrong color was my mistake (ordered the wrong color) I responded to Beachbike about the error and they immediate replied and said it would not be a problem and I will receive the “baby blue” bike that my daughter wanted so much.True to their word, the blue bike arrived in great condition. It was almost fully assembled with only about 20 minutes of additional assembly and adjustment. My daughter was off in riding and as happy as can be.One of the special things about Beachbikes was the inclusion of a small container of beach sand. This was really cool and speaks to the level of care that goes into the bikes they sell.I receive several emails from the Beachbikes team wanting to make sure that I was completely happy with the bike and offering to answer any additional questions I might have. The truth is that the bike is very well made and hasn’t needed anything. But it’s nice to know they care and I have someone to reach out to if I need support or have questions.I plan to continue ordering bikes from this company and I highly recommend their products.

This bike is so cute! I love the mint green color. I use it to run errands around town, and it’s perfect for that purpose. It’s also good for leisurely rides along our local bike trail (which is relatively flat). It’s only a one speed, so it has its limits. I’m fine with that, but if you’re looking for a bike for fitness or commuting purposes, this is not the bike for you.The quality of the bike seems consistent with the price. At under $200, I have no expectation that it will last forever or endure heavy use. That being said, it’s probably a good choice for kids. One mistake I made was not checking how big of a frame I would need for my size. I’m 5’3 and 100lbs, and I’m probably near the upper limit of what this bike can carry. I had to adjust the seat pretty far up, but was able to find a comfortable position. However, I would have returned this one for a larger size if I wasn’t so lazy.Assembly was easy and took me less than an hour. My only complaint is that allen wrenches were not included with the bike. The seller resolved this by sending me the allen wrenches, even though they don’t include any tools with the bikes. That was nice of him! So hopefully you can learn from my mistake–check the assembly instructions on the Beachbikes website to make sure you have all of the tools you need before you start assembling the bike.

The wife should really be posting this, I bought it for her for Mother’s Day (White & Pink, yuk). She loves it and was very pleased with the girly color scheme. Some have indicated in their reviews that this was a bit hard to put together? I experienced no trouble, and had it put together in about 10 minutes. I was a bit concerned when I began the assembly because the frame looked so small initially. My wife is about 5′ 8″, and I did not want her to feel like she was dwarfing the bike and riding with her knees to her chin. However, after getting the wheels, handlebars, pedals, and saddle on, it was a great fit. It looks like it could easily be adjusted (saddle & handlebars) to fit someone several inches taller. The bike came with nice tires and a good urban tred pattern; wide and big enough to make for a smooth ride on rough pavement or dirt pathways (Phoenix, AZ canal system). She says the saddle is very comfortable and the upright “cruiser” style is the way she prefers to ride a bike. I bought the single speed; not much need for gears in the flat city in which we live. The coaster break system works smoothly and stops the bike without problem.Again, she loves the bike and because I picked it out and bought it for her, I think she’l keep me for at least another year.

So I love this bike. I couldn’t wait to get it. I haven’t been able to ride it however as the handle bars will not tighten. They will not loosen. They keep falling every time I get on the bike and I’ve tried everything so basically over $300 for a bike I am unable to enjoy.
