This is a perfect investment for anyone looking for a MIPS helmet that isn’t going to kill your budget and functions well. I wear it for riding the trails on my mountain bike. I’m still learning to improve my skills and that leads to some pretty special crashes at times so I’m always worried about safety. I don’t have any worries about this helmet. I’ve already tested the breathability of this helmet by standing in front of a fan blowing at me and WOW. The airflow is amazing. I don’t anticipate overheating while I ride anymore. It’s so lightweight that I really don’t notice it other than the view of the visor at the top of my peripheral vision. I’m an adult with a small head so the universal youth helmets fit me and typically better than the adult women’s sizes. I used the size chart and it does measure accurate for size. If I had to find a complaint with the helmet it would be that the matte purple color is almost more blue than purple. If it was the same purple as the lining pads and the buckles, I would have been on cloud nine with it. Overall, I can’t say that I have any regrets with my purchase. I even received a helmet that I had to return for a replacement due to a defect that occurred from the manufacturer packaging. The exchange was super fast and the replacement was in perfect working order.Pros:LightweightBudget friendly (MIPS comparisons)BREATHABLEComfortableEasy to adjustCons:Color wasn’t quite what I expected

Has the look of a βrealβ MTB helmet. Does not float up on top of the head like some cheap helmets. Straps are fixed on the sides, unlike some cheaper helmets where any adjustment requires adjusting the entire length of strap all the way around the helmet. My only nit to pick is the adjusting wheel is difficult for dad to reach once the helmet is on. My daughter can fit her fingers in easily though. Once I taught her to put it on then tighten a couple of clicks this nit disappeared.

These helmets are wonderful, we bought both our kids these helmets and the MIPS system is nice for anti-concussion in the event of a hard fall. light weight, quality materials, straps are a good thickness but not too stiff, The dark purple one is a bit more on the blue side so we returned for the pink per my daughters request.

Pretty helmet. Nicely adjustable. But inside there are 2 (of 4 but the back ones arenβt a problem) yellow silicone/plastic connectors that hold the inner lining to the outer shell. These grab my daughterβs hair every time she wears it and it tangles it terribly. She has had a lot of painful hair tugging to get the helmet off. I finally I took them out and hope the back two that are covered will be enough to hold the outer helmet to the inner lining.

After trying out numerous other helmets, we decided to try the Giro Tremor MIPS for our 7yr old. It fit great! Low on his head, the ratchet dial system fit nice and snug under the curvature on the back of his head, is lightweight, and has good ventilation. A winning combination. My 10yr old loved it too so we bought him one as well.

Helmet looks great, has bright color and the straps are all purple which the kids love. Very good kids helmet, highly recommended.

This was the 4th helmet like this we have bought. It was a gift, for our kid’s friend, who always really liked our kids’. They fit well, and I love the bright colors, they make it easier to identify individuals from far away. Also, they do work. Broke one in a bike wreck and it did it’s job.
