Basically us Goldwing owners have two choices: Dunlop or Bridgestone. Seems more owners prefer the Bridgestone. Both are highest quality but the price for the G709 through Amazon was too attractive to pass up. Something like 4 business days from ordering until received – excellent! The tire was a very recent manufacture at 36th week of 2012, so this was a quality choice. With the savings I decided to have a professional mount and balance it at a reasonable cost. I put in 20 minutes of doing circles and figure 8’s on a large cement parking lot to roughen up the tire surface and then off to fun riding.

They seem to be ok. U can feel more road defects, not as softer ride as with the Dunlop tire. They may be over inflated. Don’t know about the ware yeti. But I am satisfied so far.

After trying several other brands, this one is by far the quietest and best handling. The previous brand tires have all cupped out and became noisy after only 1000 miles. Not this one. The wear seems to be about the same as the factory Dunlop D250 on my GL1800 Goldwing, and only slightly less than the Dunlop E3. Too early to tell for sure, but looks to go at least another 5-6k miles. I have yet to experience the common 30 mph handlebar wobble that the other brands had on the Goldwing.

Some people seem to think they have all the answers..about things they themselves have never tried…I was told the 1500 had to have bias tires…what a lie…I purchased these tires and had the best weekend on my bike to date…over 300 miles first day…people pass along bad information like its written in stone..From now on if you don’t know first hand just be quite please and thank you.

Nice tire for my 2010 Goldwing. Not sure about wear life yet, but my ride instantly smoothed out and there’s no more low speed wobble. Recommend.

Put this on an 05 Goldwing 1800 and it balanced without any weights. I didn’t write the exact mileage down but this tire lasted 2 full years and 15 to 17000 miles, many of which were long distance, travel miles to FL and also CO.I’m ordering another one today!

I have been using this tire for about 10 years on my 1800 Honda goldwing. I have ran just about every brand tire and this is the best. It is easy to find a tire that handles the dry elements, but makes a tire excellent is how it handles in the rain and snow. Yes Snow, I have ridden about 100 miles in a snow storm with this tire, handles great. In the rain the center rain channel make a big difference. If you run this tire with beads you will get 16,000+, The most i have gotten was 19,000.
