The Sidi Rex Air Boots are replacing the Sidi Vortice in their road race boot line up. This boot was designed with the assistance of Loris Capirossi (former MotoGP Rider and current MotoGP Safety Adviser) and is poised to be the run with the leaders in the High End Road Race Boot Category.
- Buckle closure
- The Rex boot is an all new model for 2019. Itβs ease of entry and incredible adjustability through the calf and shin protectors make it one of the best fitting, safest and most comfortable Sport boots available.
- Double stitched in all high stress areas.
- All bolt on parts are replaceable.
- The foot is surrounded by cambrelle, a synthetic lining material that wicks moisture away and keeps your skin dry and less likely to Blister.
- Nylon innersole with removable arch Support pad. Dual compound sole.

They are great if you riding without stops, I understand that they are not made for the street

Love this boot. Looks good, feels good, highly protective. Only downside is if you have big calves you might struggle a bit.

Get a 1/2 size up. Took the advise from a review on here and I’m glad I did. Being the product ships from Italy this boot runs smaller than the products made in the US.

Although you are paying a premium, you are getting premium protection, style, and quality. By far my favorite boot. These run a bit narrow, so if your feet are fat and wide, get your actual size. My feet are narrow so I went down 1 size from 12(47) to 11 1/2(46).These will definitely require breaking in. I recommend wearing a full two days prior to actual riding. The soles didnβt grip my pegs very .

When I first started riding on race tracks I was shocked at how much it cost to buy proper riding boots. At $300 to $500 they are anything but cheap. Like most safety gear though, this isnβt the best place to try to cheap out. Other brands out there are just as expensive. The difference, to me, is no other boots look as good as Sidi. The Sidi REX line of boots are not just for looks though. They offer exceptional protection and a dial it in fit, while still allowing movement for walking and riding. They also have very good ankle support. One great feature of Sidi boots is that many of the parts are replaceable. For such an expensive product itβs nice to know they can be repaired if needed so you donβt need to replace them to keep them looking and working good. Even the soles can be purchased and replaced (doing so yourself is a bit tricky though so it may be best to take them to a local cobbler). The REX boots take a little more effort to put on and take off because there is no side zipper like many other boots. You have to release the 3 straps completely and then slide your foot down into them. There is a very sturdy strap at the back of the insert to help you pull them on. At first I really didnβt think I would like that but as Iβve used them Iβve gotten very good at putting them on and getting them off. At this point I think they are just as easy as my previous Sidi ST boots. Once on the adjustable straps are quick and easy to get tight. You just need to be careful not to over tighten. It is easy to crank them so tight you cut off blood flow you your foot. It take a bit to get used to exactly how tight to make them. After a couple of times though you get the hang of it.Even though the price of entry seems high, between the style, fit, protection, and the fact that you can replace many of the parts, these boots are a much better value than many other similarly priced brands.

Quick shipping great boot

great idea, but poor execution. the boots are really hard to get in and out of. they’re made to be kept on for track days not ur every day rider. I like the older sidi style boots that u put on and go after setting ur adjustments, unlike these where u have to re-adjust to take off and put on each time. I returned then and got the soles on my old Sidi’s replaced.

These boots are worth the price. I got them Wednesday and went straight to the track for 4 days. The ease of use is fantastic and the comfort is terrific. Plus the seller (in the Netherlands) was great as well. I highly recommend these!!
