I recently purchased a peloton and had feet too big for the shoes that were provided in the starting package. In general, I wear a 14 wide shoe (I’m 6’2, 250). After trying a few local bike shops who only had shoes up to a size 48, one of the workers recommended checking out Sidi as she knew some of their shoes went up to a size 52 and had leather that molded to your foot as you ride. She also advised that when looking for a cycling shoe, the shoe should be snug on your foot, but that if you put your foot in and your first thought is “this feels tight”, then it’s not a proper fit as your foot will swell when cycling and then something that starts out as “feeling tight” will then be “really tight” during a ride.I decided to check it out Sidi and ordered a pair of the Sidi Genius 7 MEGA shoes. Emphasis on the “MEGA” as this is the Sidi line that is made for a wider foot.First impression – absolutely perfect. I had previously been trying on shoes with the thinnest sock I owned, hoping they would fit. For these shoes, I could achieve a snug fit, with a padded Thorlos sock on as well. The shoe is compatible with the LOOK delta bike cleat (which is the cleat that works with the peloton bike for those wondering). The bottom line – if you are looking for a wider cycling shoe, and don’t want to bother with sizing up just to make up for width, then shell out the $$ and order this shoe. Size 49 Sidi Mega is equal to a Size 14 wide US.

I found that these shoes are perfect for myself. I have wider feet and the soles provide enough support for that. I was initially concerned about the strap pushing against my feet, but I have yet to see that as a problem. Easy to install the clips and the build quality seems on par with what you’d expect at this price point. I find these shoes to not be the lightest of the shoes, but I am a beginner and they’re definitely lighter than I deserve.

I’ve crammed my feet into other shoes for decades and always had aching feet after 50 or so miles. You just don’t read too much about wide cycling shoes and I didn’t even know these existed until about a month ago.Ok, now to the present. The toe box is large, I mean big, “mega”, hence the name. I was so pleased to find a shoe that fits my ridiculously wide foot. I always bought 2 sizes larger so the width (EEE) would sort of fit me but that screws up the cleat/foot position so I wasn’t actually getting the proper cleat placement so I was always riding “on my toes” (which of course u lose power), AND they have half sizes to so don’t fret, there’s a pair that will fit you and will be comfortable. Now I can wear any thickness of socks and or multiple socks for winter riding without my feet aching at the end of each ride.Yes, of course, I recommend thes mega shoes and I hope they will continue to make these.Try them I’m sure you’ll appreciate the comfort if you have problems with shoe width as I did.Dave C. Quality shoes. Very impressed. Comfortable from the first ride. Only change I made was to replace the insole with a thicker one. I have giant feet. Size 15 EEE. The 51 Wide fits me perfectly. Plenty of room in the toe box. I previously tried a 51 in a more expensive Lake shoe and they were a little tight in the toe box.

I have been using the Peloton issued shoes for about 6 months. I have EEE feet and they were simply not wide enough but I fought through it. About 2 weeks ago my feet started to not only hurt but also go numb. So I ordered these shoes and they are absolutely perfect for wide feet. They are very comfortable and work great on the Peloton. Service was great and shipping fast. So glad I purchased.

I have 3E – 4E size 12 wide feet and these shoes fit me perfectly. Yes they are expensive but they are totally worth it if you are looking to get fit. I highly recommend them.

These shoes are very comfortable. I am brand new to cycling but I splurged because my friend who has cycled for years swears by them. I have put almost 400 miles on them in my less than first month of having the bike and and I donβt ever have to think about my shoes or feet. I feel like thatβs exactly how it should be and it will be well with the cost if they last me as long as my friendβs pair has lasted for him.

I have a 4E foot. These fit and work in cooler weather with thick socks
