   I love this saddle. It’s over the top but that’s what I was looking for. After a few days it seems very comfortable. I considered a Brooks saddle but my bike is a restored Bianchi. I just had to use Italian leather.

   My first Rolls saddle. I have used several Selle San Marco Regal saddles over the years, but liked the gold trim on this saddle for a steel framed red bicycle with gold/yellow trim. It replaces a 3 year old Selle Italia Turbo saddle (one of the vegan leather modern versions) and is working extremely well. The padding is thicker, like on the Regal. The shape is very comfortable and my biggest test – how many times did I even think about my saddle on my last 100 mile ride – was passed with flying colors… I only thought of it once when someone at a Starbucks said, “Nice bike,” and I noticed it. The ‘Rino Leather’ of the saddle looks identical to the Regal, and so it should wear pretty much the same way… over time, the unusual texture – which looks cool – will go away as the saddle ‘settles in.’ A little leather conditioner now and again is all I’ve ever had to use on this type of leather, and it’ll last and last. If you do get it wet, you have to dry it out completely… then use a little weatherproofing paraffin based polish and buff to a high sheen.

   I’ve ridden a Rolls saddle since 1984. The quality and comfort have remained consistent for the past 33 years.
