Proving that great fit and high performance doesn’t always come at a high price, the SCOTT Road Comp BOA is perfect for discerning enthusiasts on a budget. The adaptive fit upper pattern features a BOA L6 Fit System. Combined with a lower anatomic fit strap, it articulates to best fit the shape of the rider’s foot. The ErgoLogic insole features arch support and a metatarsal button. Stiff enough to satisfy the performance instinct but comfortable enough for all-day rides, the injection nylon and glass fiber sole has an increased range of cleat adjustment with a stiffness index of 6.

Ordered the Scott Road Comp Boa in a size 48. I prefer a little extra room in my cycling shoes as this was a bit snug, but there arenβt many affordable options for me any my size 14s. However, Iβm surprised by how comfortable the fit is. The Boa system is new for me but I like the ease for adjusting the fit versus traditional laces and Velcro. The sole is stiff and provides an excellent platform.I recently completed my first hill ride through Carbon Canyon. This was my 5th or 6th ride in the shoes and I came away even more impressed. I experienced no foot fatigue or soreness which has been an accepted norm when trying to find shoes due to flat feet. The internal support was great and does not require any after market inserts for me.For the price point i would definitely recommend these shoes. Set with a shimano pedal system was a breeze.

Very nice set of shoes for the price. Outer material is very firm and sole is exceptionally stiff for what it is. Has a concaved sole which made cleat installation pretty easy. Few things I want to mention though:Pros:β’Quality build for the priceβ’BOA Systemβ’Well Ventedβ’Cleat alignment ticks on soleCons:β’BOA must be unclipped to loosen. Canβt loosen by twisting backwardsβ’Velcro Strap doesnβt really tighten fit by muchβ’BOA wires a little stiff when loosening
