   Real nobby tires, can handle any terrain, excellent stability and grip. Definitely recommended for downhill riding and more technical trails.

   I put these on an Intense Spider 29 and while the front fit great the rear is a little tight so requires careful air pressure in the tire and the rear shock to keep from rubbing with the 2.3 width. Outside of that, which isn’t the tire’s issue, I LOVE these tires.

   Out of sight and out of mind is normal reaction for rim tape – notwithstanding; was pleased that this rim tape behaved itself (kept in place) when installing tire and tube on rim. Honestly I had placed a bolt in valve hole to keep another brand of rim tape in place during tire replacements. Now I no longer need that clever little bolt, high pressure rim tape stays put.

   Decent quality and thickness, but the diameter size seemed way too small for the rim. I had to stretch it with a great deal of strength to fit it onto the rim, to the point I thought that it might break, but it didn’t. These are like the old butyl rubber type rim tapes, this is fairly stiff and less flexible and less stretchy vinyl or plastic.

   The rim guard works similar to a rubber band. Anyone familiar with changing a bicycle tire should have an easy time using this product.
