Adjustable: This bike rack storage is designed to work with 1.25″ hitch-mounted bike racks. But the cool part is, you can simply swap out the 8 hex bolts and easily change the receiver size from 2″ to 1-1/4″. You don’t even need to remove it from the wall!
Heavy-duty construction: With the body made out of steel and powder coated for a durable finish, this beefy and well-made hitch storage rack is built to last. Powder-coated finish means you won’t ever have to worry about rust and corrosion.
Easy to install: If you have the right tool at hand, installation doesn’t take more than 5 minutes. Just decide the location of the hitch storage mount, the height at which you want to mount and then locate the mark. Line up the unit, level it, mark the three holes, ratchet down the bolts and you are done.

I purchased this hitch mounted bike rack storage to get my Yakima Hold-Up 4 off the work bench and storage rack in my garage to clear up space and to prevent it from falling off and damaging my car again. After finding a wood stud behind the the drywall in the garage it took me 15 minutes to complete the install with the 3 lag screws provided. But beware the Rack Stash is a much tighter fit (for the 2 inch size) than the hitch on our van and some white lithium grease was required. The Rack Stash is holding the 95 lb. bike rack with no problems at all. Great purchase!!

Highly recommended!! I wish I had found this a year ago!! I had a limited space in the garage to store the bike rack and needed a way to not have to lift the rack high off the ground due to back issues. I was able to mount this just above the foundation stem wall of the garage and I only have to lift the rack about 8″. The rack locks into the rack stash just as it does on the truck hitch securing it in place.

Could have fabbed my own but this is a good deal. My only issue is the sharp edges, a beveled finished would make it easier to use and less likely scratch anything.

I ordered this based on other reviews and it’s exactly as I was expecting. It’s easy to install, rock solid and it’s so much better than having my rack on the floor.My only advice is to be aware of how high you put it. There’s the convenience factor (e.g. do you want to put something under or over it?) but also, if your bike rack is like mine (Kuat NV2.0), it’s heavy so putting it at a height where you don’t need to bend down or reach up will make your life much easier.

I got this to use for my Thule 2 by bike rack so that it didn’t just have to sit on the floor. It works just as it should and looks great on the wall. I sold my bike rack and switch to a Velocirax 5X rack which this held just fine. (if your using a heavier rack I would suggest bolting this into something bigger than a 2×4, even though mine did fine)This was also a breeze to assemble on my wall, do yourself a favor and clean up some garage space.

Great storage mount for a bike rack or any other small type hitch-mounted hauler. The build quality is top-notch and way better than the other Chinese knockoffs being sold on here. It can be changed from 1.25 to 2″ with no issues.
