   Well I knew I bought these Bison straps for a reason. Didn’t know when I was going to need them (thinking initially that I would eventually need to strap down something to the luggage racks of my SUV), so I kept them packed in the storage space at the rear of my vehicle. Last night, I finally got an opportunity to put them to use, and boy I’m so glad they were close at hand. My friend and I needed to move a refrigerator from one house to another. I had a set of tie downs that had hooks on the ends, and we were trying to use them first. We’ll guess what? Those weren’t long enough to wrap around the refrigerator to keep the doors nice and tightly closed. I told my buddy I had these other Bison straps, but he kinda ignored me still trying to make the other tie-downs with the hooks work. I began wrapping the fridge with the long Bison straps, and voila, he was amazed! He tied the end onto a hook on his truck. I wrapped another Bison strap around the fridge and we tied it to another hook. Job done. Actually, we did eventually used the hook tie-downs to tighten the fridge down, but it could not happen without the help of these long Bison straps that kept the doors from moving around. Sure, we could have used the tie-downs with hooks by extending them end to end to make them long enough to wrap around the fridge, but the hooks would have put undo pressure on the the nice stainless steel finish of the refrigerator and possibly indented it. So glad I had these Bison straps nearby. By the way, the ones I ordered had pictures in the description that depict the clasps as having a silver finish. The ones I received have a black paint finish. It makes no difference to me, but keep that in mind if it is something important to you.

   These are great for strapping down a kayak to your roof rack. In the past I’ve used ratchet straps which have the ability to damage your gear, are heavy, and difficult to use. These cam straps by bison gear are extremely versatile, easy to use, and very sturdy. It has made my experience much more pleasant. They are made much more durable than ones I have used in the past. I will continue to use this product as it is a major bang for buck and I can rest assured that my product will be safe as well.

   I got these because I needed some new tie down straps for my kayaks to carry them on my roof rack. These straps really stand out when you remove them from their carry/storage bag. Very nice and the web straps are more substantial than the older straps I had. Buckles appear to be quality too. Given these aren’t any more expensive than other straps I am extremely pleased with them and would recommend them after using them with my kayaks and SUP at highway speeds.

   I shopped around and found these tie down straps and they looked just like what I needed. When they came in I was truly impressed with their quality. I’ve used them to tie down my Stand Up Paddle Board and kayaks to the roof of my van on a two week trip through Arkansas. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing a convenient way to secure any load.

   I have recently added a lift to my vehicle for transporting the scooter that I use for mobility purposes. As the lift has secure support, I felt additional support was needed and purchased the Bison Gear Tie Downs. The tie downs have made the scooter more secure to the lift. I would not hesitate to purchase additional tie downs for other things as needed.

   I use these to tie my kayaks to my J racks on my Subaru Forester. I had another brand but they started to show wear after the first use. With Bison Gear’s lifetime warranty I expect years of use without worry.

   I use these straps to secure a kayak onto the trailer. These straps are better quality than any straps I have used before. I have not had any issues with slippage or other failures. I highly recommend this product.
