   I lost a couple of the end caps off my Rhino Rack rails. These replacements fit perfectly and the set includes the key, which also fits the original.

   Needed a single replacement but this set easier to locate and reasonably priced so I ordered four pieces. The Rhino-Rack has served me well and all of its parts are solidly built and integral to a nicely designed and well-built product. I ordered these Rhino end caps to replace one pulled off in a car wash. It fits snugly and precisely. If it happens again I’m covered.

   So I ordered Rhino Rack crossbars and the keys wouldn’t lock the caps. The caps weren’t even fitting too snugly so I came here thinking I would look at replacement end caps. I noticed another Amazon reviewer complaining about the same issue. Well, I contacted Rhino Rack and told them about the problem and sent them a few pictures looking down the barrel of the bar. They told me that there was an issue with some of the bars not being cut correctly so the caps wouldn’t fit or lock properly. Rhino Rack FedEx’ed me a complete new set of bars and the new caps (and the old caps) both fit and locked properly. So if you are having problems with caps not locking properly you might contact Rhino Rack and see if you got a bad batch of bars! The bars lock just fine and they are SOOO quiet!

   If you use trekking poles, these are a must. Finding yourself on slick or smooth rock these tips will provide some grip. They do wear out, but they are easy to replace. I am on my second set.
