   Very well put together! I’m putting on a dueiiy so I’m moving over the hedge about 7 inches towards the passenger side keeping the original hitch where it is and put a second receiver 7 inches over. It will work very well for me. We have a small camper shell cab height So this will push our bike rack away from our tent that slides onto our camper shell. Should work out very well. We are going to take a 6000 mile trip in September. I’ll let you know how it holds up!

   Excellent product: fits perfectly on 2021 Jeep Wrangler unlimited 4xe!!2 e bike rack swings out perfectly on driver’s side!!Should have had it earlier!

   Excellent mechanical design, quality, and packaging. However, I must subtract a couple of stars because the Kuat Pivot doesn’t fully clear my full-size van doors. Depending on my hitch accessories, I can typically open my rear door most of the way, but not far enough to engage the detent that holds the door open. Gearing up at the back of the van is pretty annoying when the van door wants to close on you. I will try to fabricate a door stay to remedy this.If Kuat ever reads these reviews… I recommend moving the pivot point several inches outboard, and marketing it as a specialized version for wider vehicles. You may have to de-rate the load rating a little bit, but this would still be a big improvement for the van community.If you have an SUV or smaller vehicle, this won’t be a problem for you. If you have a van, it won’t be perfect, but I don’t know a swing away hitch that is.

   2 possible issues ….On the surface, it seems good however after 2 weeks of use we see 2 issues.We purchase this for use with our bike rack so we could have easier access to our hatch while carrying our bikes. This is the second swing away we have owned the first was for a heavy electric scooter and never had these issues.The first issue is that the release paddle-like handle is no longer latching/catching into place.Secondly, once it opens and you need to close it you have to lift it slightly back up onto the bar for it to lock it back into place. It is also quite noticeable the amount of rubbing that is happening at the point where the top bar rests on the bottom. Time will tell how well it will hold up.

   I did not give this 5 stars simply because my bikes tend to sway more with this in place. However, that is most likely related to the longer lever arm than the swing away.So, I have a Honda Ridgeline and it has the dual tailgate. I most frequently use the swing open tailgate, so when I have my One UP bike rack installed, I cannot open the swing gate without first dropping the bike rack down, which means that the bike rack is in the way of access to the truck bed. So, after a ride, I have been removing the bike rack. But as you can imagine, that gets old real quick. So I was looking at the swing away from One Up, but they are MUCH more expensive, and not only that, they just implemented a pricing increase of $100! Needless to say, I started looking around for alternatives, and this Kuat swing away was the answer that I was looking for. Not only does it swing away easily, but it can go past 90 degrees (not that i need it to). But it is a nice to have. So I am thrilled that I got this. Now I only have to get comfortable with the additional rocking of the bikes while driving…

   This is exactly what I needed for my 2022 Ford Bronco. I ride my bike constantly so the bike rack stays on throughout the year. Due to the oversized spare tire, the bike rack wouldn’t allow my rear door to open. Taking the bike rack on and off to load or unload my trunk was a pain so this swing away is perfect! Very sturdy and somewhat heavy but overall an easy install. Would definitely recommend.

   Allows the use of your tailgate to open with bike mounted. Has a serious hinge that is strong and anti rattle mechanism
