   Easy to install once you get the hang of it. Holds bikes firmly in place and protects both the bike and the tailgate nicely! Trap doors allows backup camera use but be advised, leaving it up during high speed travel will most likely cause the loop holding it up to rip.

   Built really well. Its kind of a universal fit, which means it doesn’t fit my f150 like a glove. But rather reasonably and can be snugged up with the straps. Overall pretty solid like mos Dakine products

   What can I say? It’s a Dakine pad. It’s job is to protect tailgates. It does that, just like they have been doing for years. That’s why they’re still in business. I wasn’t sure how it would fit on my 21 Silverado, but it’s “ok”.When the pad is perfectly centered the rear view camera is somewhat visible. However the pad easily shifts with driving and the camera is obscured. You’re better off just leaving the flap down.The center straps need to be longer. No two ways about it.Considering how much they cost I would like to see these issues fixed.

   It works but does not fit snug to tail gate, if you don’t care how it looks then go for it! They need to make one custom just for the awkward tailgate that come on Ram heavy duty trucks! Otherwise it built tough, use it a lot just doesn’t fit perfect as I was hoping for

   The pads hole for the tailgate latch and camera are set too low for a 2017 F-150. Most truck latches are near the top and the whole is about 6-8 low. Sending it back and buying one that works.

   This didn’t fit my 2009 f150 very well. The pad covered the tailgate handle so it was very difficult to reach. The opening allowed for use of the back-up camera which is very nice but I would like access to the tailgate handle as well. Otherwise the tailgate pad seems very well made and wish I could have used it if it wasn’t for the poorly place opening.
