   I picked these up in preparation for a race in October. These are good protective glasses for either road or mountain bike use. They have a nice, wide field of vision and the photochromic lenses transition very quickly and without being too dark. I like that they include two different size nose pieces and the carrying case is a very nice touch. The glasses fit pretty well and stay in place fine. The large lens makes it easy to see the road when your head is down and you are in a forward position on the bike or in the drops. I only have two complaints. The first is that the earpieces rest somewhat high above the ears. I wish that the angle between the front plane of the lens and the earpieces was smaller so that the glasses had a more forward tilt against the cheeks (think wayfarer sunglasses tilt), instead, they tilt away from the cheeks unless the ear pieces are positioned high above the ears. The second complaint is that I ordered a set of translucent frames but received a white pair instead. I would have ordered the black frames had I known that I would have received white frames instead of translucent ones. All in all, these are a pretty good pair of protective glasses, especially for the price.

   I was hoping to use these under my helmet for mountain biking. The temple tips are too long and pointy. I ripped them off on my first ride. I love their look and was really hoping they would work better for me.

   They worked well for my late afternoon rides that ended in the dark. However, they are slow to tint during the day and do not get dark enough for me personally. I use other glasses if I am in a full daytime ride

   I look like a dork wearing these, but they are actually really great for the price. The photo chromatic lenses darken and lighten fast and effectively, they are comfy and stay on your nose and face, and the coverage is great. I forgot I have them on.I got the clear frames/clear>gray lenses. Not sure about other lens colors, but these transition great.

   Good coverage over eyes for mtb, doesn’t dim very much when it’s sunny although that may be best when you go quickly in and out of forest foliage when mtb.

   I bought this for low light when commuting to work early in the morning (protect my eyes from bugs). I also plan to use them when mountain biking in low light conditions in the shade of the woods. They are comfortable, fit well and stay in position on the nose. As sunglasses they aren’t good, but again that’s not why I bought them or use them. On my commute home in the sun I wear a pair of POC sunglasses.
