Ok, it’s from Park Tool- so you’re going to pay a little more than some other brand.Great brush for cleaning your drive train ( chains, cassette, gear rings) I suppose you could use it on your wheels, but I think Park has a brush for that ;-)Great alternative if you don’t want to buy a full brush set for one brush or ( as in my case) have to replace one.

I was a bit surprised at how thin the brush handle is. It works but I expected something a little less flimsy.

I use the pointed teeth on the handle to clean the built-up chain lube and dirt from my bicycle’s rear cassette. The brush body is thin enough to fit well between the sprockets yet the sawtooth points quickly remove nearly solid crud. The the bristles are sturdy and effective and work well with or without liquid degreaser.Don’t forget to work over a rag or disposable sheeting, so when you are finished you can dispose of the very black, sticky and probably toxic bits that come off the cassette if you use Tri-Flow as your chain lube. You definitely don’t want to be tracking them around on the soles of your shoes.I can’t rate “sheerness.” What does it mean for a tool to be “sheer”?

I use this tool primarily to clean between the gears on my bicycle’s cassette. It makes quick work of the job, and cleans very well, though you may have to clean the cog, then clean the tool and repeat a couple times. The thickness of the hard end is perfect for fitting between the cogs; the brush end has the perfect stiffness for cleaning chains or gooey derailleurs or main chain rings. Another excellent Park Tool (and no, I don’t own the company!).

Product works great. It easily removed the wax buildup on my cassette teeth and the pick side easily removed the wax buildup between the cogs down my the 11 on my Shimano cassette. I didnβt realize that overtime wax buildup around your small rear chain rings can cause shifting issues. Not anymore:)

Not much to say, this is a good tool to use when cleaning bikes. My first one lasted 10 years with weekly cleaning of 3 and 4 bikes. The hard plastic side is useful for getting stuck on debris cleared from the cassette.

Good product for cleaning cassette. I used to use a toothbrush and though it would seem this would work better, they actually work about the same. The non-brush probing end for digging out dirt and stuff doesn’t seem to be needed as much at least for the dirt and gravel trail riding I do.
