I actually purchased this helmet for riding horses. It’s great in that it’s light, breathable (equestrian helmets try but fail miserably at this) and provides the back-of-head coverage you need when you ride.I also have to say that the MIPS sold me. Equestrian helmet makers are not exactly on the cutting edge of technology, so I appreciate that mountain biking helmets can bridge that gap and allow me to access the most-advanced protection for my delicate gray matter.

I followed the sizing guidelines on Giro’s website and the helmet fit my head perfectly and is comfortable. Looks nice, too. I like that they have a fantastic selection of sizes and colors.

I’ve had my helmet for over a year now and I cycle nearly every day. It’s held up well (luckily, I haven’t had any crashes that tested it!), and I like the visor extension (which for me is essential). I gave it four stars because I still find it somewhat uncomfortable, but maybe there isn’t a helmet out there that is cushioned enough for me. The adjustable feature is okay; the chin strap slips a bit, so I have to readjust it daily. I have to wear some sort of cloth protection underneath it though, whether a beanie or a headband, to keep the plastic elements inside the helmet from causing sore spots on my head. I don’t know if I’d buy it again; I’d probably spend more money and get something that was more comfortable (if that’s possible).

This helmet arrived way before expected! The helmet is extremely nice looking and comfortable! It includes a go pro attachment for the helmet. Would definitely recommend.
