I like the bike rack overall, though I do have a few qualms with it.Pros:* Easy to mount bikes on* Clean looking, attractive* Well designed and easy to use.* sturdyCons: Normally I wouldn’t be so critical, but this wasn’t exactly cheap, and my standards are a bit higher when I’m paying north of $350 for some metal tubes.* The front wheel hook MUST be as close to the fork as possible. Otherwise it will eventually work itself loose and dump the bike over on bumpy/gravel roads. This got my bike scratched up a little, but my pedal scratched the mount up a ton when it fell. I admit this was user error, since I didn’t put the wheel hook right next to the fork, but the instructions don’t point this out, which is pretty darn important when carrying expensive bikes at (potentially) highway speeds.* The security is lacking, and the security locks and bolts aren’t standard (You won’t be able to find better locks at hardware stores like Ace Hardware). If I could buy a version with hardened locks with a security torx trailer bolt, I would. ** This rack has plastic locks with metal internals, but these look delicate and don’t appear hardened. I used to take the rack off each time I used it, but the threaded bolt makes it difficult to constantly take on and off, so it is on for now. Hopefully nobody steals it, because I can’t find hardened locks for the security bolts. In addition to this, the included security loop is pretty flimsy.

Shipped fast, box was heavy duty and bike rack was well packed with no damage. Assembly was minimal and easy. Hitch pin is threaded so suggest using a ratching 19mm box end wrench for tight space if your hitch is surrounded by a plastic bumper. Hitch pin lock is plastic but you can order a more secure metal one on their website for $20 which would be preferable to have included initially for a few extra dollars instead of ordering separately and then trashing the plastic one, same for cable lock. Otherwise very satisfied with rack and how it holds bikes by wheels without needing to secure to frame.

Great rack, wish I would have bought this years ago. Excellent quality, as good as or better than racks twice the price.

I was having an issue with the hanging type bike rack where the bikes dangle from metal posts. My bike, Trek hardtail, would mount with no problem and pretty much stay in place whereas my wifeβs, Schwinn girly bike, would bounce all over the place. The reason why hers would not stay in place was it required a special arm that attached to the seat post and the handlebar. I constantly had to stop and reposition wherever we went. This bike rack, however, is like a freaking tank. Itβs solid, bikes donβt bounce and look more stable/secure. Although Iβve only used it once, I can tell by just one trip, an hour plus one way, that this rack will be well worth the purchase.

Good product. Helpful and quick customer service but if you get the product and want to exchange it they will charge you about $100 if you put it together. Make sure you are completely committed. I bought the two bike version and decided it wasnβt for me within moments of installing it. Read the fine print about returns on the site, ouch. Itβs my fault for not reading the return policy when I wasnβt sure, but I wish I would have known. I wouldnβt have bought the product. I donβt plan to recommend it to people I know. There are just as good products out there that wonβt do this to you. If you are 100% sure you want this product, then itβs a good product, although the replacement single bike version I ended up getting is missing some screws and it was sticky and gross when I arrived so Iβm guessing they donβt actually use that $100 to clean return products and just ship it out to people like new. (I bought the single bike system into the website separately from my Amazon transaction).

Very easy to assemble, just follow the directions and pay attention to the diagrams. Very solid on the road and equally solid with no wobbling on the mountain road switchbacks. Great hitch rack!
