I bought this L100 last fall/winter with a “used, like new condition” and couldn’t be happier with it. I ride it to and from work every single day. I have put it through some rough riding, jumping everything i can everywhere I go. This is my first all chromally steel bike, and I can’t imagine ever getting anything but that now. I can forsee it lasting a very long time with proper maintenance and care. Just wish it had a front brake and a slightly smaller back tire, as these tires do make it harder to accelerate do to the amount of grip and friction they have. 2.4″ wide tires are much much different than anything else I’ve ever had. I think 2.3″ would be perfect on the back. Have some good lithium grease ready for the bearings on the front fork when you install. This bike has been my best friend for the past 8 months or so, and besides just regular maintenance and tightening the crank and chain once a month, and a couple flat tires repaired, it had been very reliable and indestructible as far as what I personally put it through. If you’ve never had an all chromally (frame, forks, handlebars, crank arms) you are in for a real treat. I would hands down buy this bike again. Either that or piece together and build my own.

Saved money buying this through Amazon Warehouse. Box was repackaged. Fine. Written on outside, “Amazon Defective Return”. Uh oh. Turns out the brake handle clamp was broken. Mongoose support was great, offered me reimbursement for new lever. This is second time Amazon Warehouse sent me a broken item without listing it as damaged :-/

The bolt for adjusting seat angle is hidden inside the seat. The bolt for the seat height was missing. I later found it loose in the box. Assembly manual instructions are not great.Β Online assembly videos were more helpful. A chain guard is included but, no kickstand.

first of all – i got this bike for an “steal” open box – $320.00 prime – so my review is kinda skewed -but indeed if you can get this bike for <$500 or <$400 - i would submit it is the best pound for pound -yes i hear you - they sell mongoose at walmart (no doubt) - but look at the specs -chromolly frame, forks, and handlbars, double walled rims, integrated head bearings, pivot seattry to find this on any other "branded" bike - PK Ripper,GT, WTP, Cult, Subrosa, and Kink (on a side note the Kink Whip) is about as close as one can come - but the 2022 models are gone and now the 2023 models are $529.00again - my review is a bit skewed - as frankly i got an open box steal - indeed box was damaged - but bike was 100% new -look i aint no serious rider - just enjoying my inner 12 year oldon side note (being 5-8) - for me the seat post is a wee low at 270 mm - so i ordered a 320mm to replace itbut again no major tricks here - just street cruising - so each to their own... cheersUPDATE !! - price today 8-23-22 ($382.00) - not prime - but indeed pick this steal up !!!!again pound for pound - compare the specs to any other BMX on Amazon or and other BMX bikes -GT, Redline, WTP, Subrosa, Cult - you simply cannot do any better !!!

Cool bike but did not come with pedals. Kinda hard to ride without them. Not for sure if you need to order separately or they forgot to get into the box

Great big, full 4130 chromoly. Not super light, but not bad. Mostly it came out together. What was left was easy. The seat is kind of a pain to adjust, but not overly that worried about it. My sone said said it rides great.
