The Joystar Totem model was packaged with care. Joystar takes prudent measures to ensure that the bike and unassembled components are held firmly eithin the shipping carton. Careful attention was given to protecting painted surfaces from scratches. Our bike was received without a single blemish. Assembly was straightforward aided by a professionally produced owner’s manual. Pictures made it easy for even the most mechanically challenged individual. The bike itself is sturdy and all moving parts move without the slightest resistance or noise, giving us the impression of quality design and construction. Even more important, we had questions about the availability of accessories. We emailed Joystar customer service. Nancy replied to us same day. A follow-up question was also answered same day with Nancy providing the information we were seeking. I don’t usually write reviews because I think good customer service is an expectation, but when it’s above and beyond, it deserves recognition. I would highly recommend this product as high quality and one backed by quality service.

Not that easy to assemble. The reflectors are for larger bicycles. Somewhat pricey for what it is.

The bike is stunning and perfect for my three year old, but most importantly the customer service I received via email was outstanding. I had inquired about a piece I had thought was broke, turns out it wasnβt and a lady named Nancy wrote back the explanation of the piece and also advised she was going to send a front basket & doll carrier for my daughters bike. Just out of kindness! If youβre looking for a first bike for your child- this is it. I put it together in about a hour, pretty simple once you get going.

Husband spent a while putting this together. We needed bike grease that we got from the hardware store. He said 0/10 putting it together. But it looks good now that itβs all set. My almost 6 year old will be getting this for Christmas.
