FERNANDO GUATEMALA –

The media could not be loaded. Β Light weight but sturdy over the shoe covers these are going to be great to just slip on while I’m wearing my sneakers to head outside to the garden or to empty the trash. These covers will keep my sneakers dry While I just run out for a minute. Easy to get on and also there are instructions on how to fold them up so they’ll fit in the bag you can take the bag along with you when you’re traveling this is great. Excellent value for this product.

These are good galoshes or boot covers. The material has a good thickness to it and they will definitely do a good job keeping water out.I wish they were designed in a way that was a bit easier to slip the foot in. When the sole of my athletic shoe meets the rubber of this, they donβt want to slide against each other. They grip each other and itβs difficult to slide the foot all the way in. I wish the opening toward the heel was wider somehow. Itβs a bit of an effort to put these on. When theyβre on, no issues.

I got these to pull on over my slippers to shovel the driveway in my pjs after a night of snow. They are soft and flexibleβI wear a 10.5 to 11 men’s shoe and the XL size of the overshoe slips over slippers or Vans with no problem. Then they tighten with snaps, one at the top of the arch, another at the calf. There are two options with each snap, less tight and more tight, and it seems the more tight option is right for me.We haven’t had any snow yet here, so I haven’t really tried these out. The tread on the bottom looks like it will keep me from slipping around too much. And they’re high enough to keep the snow out of my shoes, even if it’s deep. These seem like a serviceable, quality-made product, and I have no trouble recommending them.My preferred version of this kind of product is hard, shape-retaining rubber with the zipper up the middle from the toe to the calf. But I haven’t found a good replacement for the pair I wore out. So these will do, and I’m sure they’ll be fine for what I use them for.

From the images, I’d thought these would be a little more heavy-duty. They look like they’ll be sufficient to use for a quick round of snow shoveling. I might just leave them in the car for emergencies.

My vision for these waterproof shoe covers was that I could wear my comfortable shoes without getting them wet or muddy, rather than using rain boots which are bulky, heavy, and generally have no cushion or support. In reality, it is like a wrestling match to get them on and, if they do get muddy, it would be difficult to remove them without grabbing the muddy bottoms. Iβm still giving them three stars because they are what they are and seem well made: I even like the sole imprint. I wear a womanβs size 8 and ordered medium, which seems to be the correct match once on. Unfortunately, itβs too much of a struggle to use them and they are pretty goofy-looking.These shoe covers are made of a flexible, stretchy, grippy rubber which feels like you could tear it, but some force was required to get my shoes into them, and it was fine. The lower of two snap pull tabs which cinch the top of the boot tight is reinforced. The enclosed instructions say to roll the top of the rain boot down as far as you can, insert the toe of your shoe into the toe of the rain boot, then stretch the heel over your shoe. I had a hard time keeping the top folded and it was difficult to pull over the heel of the shoe too. Some of that is dependent on the shoe; I tried two different slip-on sneakers, one with a wider heel than the other. Because I was wearing slip-on shoes, they stayed in the rain boots when I took them off, but they were easy to remove from the boot. That gave me the idea to try putting my shoe into the boot while not wearing it; for one shoe it seemed easier, but the other one was not. It would take some practice to put them on quickly or some thought about the best shoes to wear in them. Either way, you canβt avoid handling the bottom of the boot: to fit the toe in, and to stretch and position them onto the heel. Once they are on, you could wade through ankle-deep water or mud without getting your feet wet and the soles seem good enough to hold up to average wear β not a lot of gravel or sharp stones. Iβm disappointed that they arenβt what I had hoped for and contemplating something shorter that still covers the shoe but isnβt as difficult to put on β or rain boots with comfort inserts.
