   The product is good. However, the seller seemed to have send me a used one. The shifter has scratches and it’s not in proper placement in the box. That’s why I gave 4 stars.

   Shifter seems good. Comes with a cable but no housing for it.

   When you hit a sudden climb, no need to get off the bike and walk anymore. This shifter will move the chain halfway up the cassette in one throw of the lever. A worthy upgrade over SX (though upgrade the derailleur to GX first).

   I swapped out the NX shifter for GX and could immediately tell a difference in shifting. Leaps and bounds better than NX. Much better riding experience now!
