Had a bit of difficulty getting a good seal, due to the tire bead having a small raised pattern across it. Was able to eventually get a good seal. Still, cause for concern at lower pressures. Otherwise, they perform as expected for the size/volume. Noticeable drag in wet sand at lower pressures, but this is due to the tread pattern. Very grippy & excellent traction.

Had a flat on my gravel bike, ordered this one. I’ve abused the tire for over 20 hours of off-road riding so far and it shows no sign of wear. Great grip and the tan looks good on my bike.

Grippy on dirt and nice on pavement. Great all around tire! In Texas we have lots of loose rocks. These handle the trails well. I recommend black sidewalls for the durability.

Trainers are always hard on tires but this compound and the small nubs, my read tire wore out in a couple rides — unfortunately I don’t have a spare back wheel but if you like me need to switch to an indoor ride on occasion — these may not be best. Now if you you are just riding on the road, want to make your road bike a bit more “gravel” oriented these have a great ride for less than perfect asphalt, single tracks, gravel pathways etc. I love the color combos.

I absolutely love these tires. I got the 700x38c and mounted them on my Surly Long Haul Trucker. I am incredibly impressed with how fast and smooth they roll on pavement, yet handle extremely well on dirt/gravel roads and trails. If youβre looking for a touring/commuting/dual purpose tire.. get these. You wonβt be disappointed.

Summary: I tried the GravelKing after buying a competitor’s model, and finding out that the tread was molded with a wobble. No regrets, these are fantastic. They’re the most popular gravel tires on the market for a reason.Pros:- The color! These are a nice reddish-brown, and go great with the rest of my bike- Traction. The small knobs on the center roll well on pavement and small loose gravel, and the knobs on the sides of the tires grip well in turns.- Rolling resistance. You feel like you’re flying. These tires will not be the reason you’re slow.- Weight. Very light, in comparison to others I’ve tried.- Tubeless setup. These mounted easily, but tightly, popped into place easily, and have held air for days with no sealant. As easy as it gets.Cons:- Price? Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. More than I prefer to pay. That said, worth it.You can’t go wrong with GravelKings.
