Very good helmet overall. Would definitely recommend it.There are two things that I think can be improved:1) The fit adjustment dial on the back does not stay in place very well and can loosen the fit of the helmet slightly through normal use. It also can pop off of the helmet altogether too easily, which is what happened to me and now the dial is missing. So this mechanism can be improved by staying in the position you set it to better and being attached to the helmet itself more securely.2) The ventilation is rather poor. The vents are okay for slow, passive cooling, but they are not placed well for active venting that draws air into the helmet and pushes it out the back (like a normal bike helmet). I found this out because my head would get very hot while biking in this helmet, so I now use it exclusively for skateboarding, where I don’t get as hot.

To large. Fits well but swivels on my head, large /xl fit to large even after switching to the second padding provided. The dial works nicely and wonβt let you over tighten the brow on the helmet shell does not let air ventilate the helmet just direct the air around the under side of the helmet. It feels and looks bulky on the head. I ordered the dual certified as well to see which I preferred. Returning them both for different reasons. I like the Gotham it was noticeably warmer after wearing it inside for about 2 minutes but was more comfortable.

Use this for skateboarding, rollerblading and biking. It’s okay for short distances in summer, not anything over a couple of miles. Better in spring and fall with cooler temperatures. Hot, hot, hot.

Our daughter skates, snowboards, rides horses, bikes and skateboards. This is perfect for all of them because it protects her temporal, occipital and forehead completely. No more worries if she falls forward, backward or sideways! We measured her head and it fits perfectly. The strap is even above average because it isn’t too rough on her skin, adjusted easily and doesn’t have 4 inches of extra material. She said she wishes that had some better colors and ones with cool designs.

I’m using this helmet for bowl riding on my surfskate.Quality – They spared no expense during manufacturing the helmet as the attention to detail is evident. The helmet’s matte finish is immaculate. The fit pads and MIPs liner are precisely placed. Even the rivets are embossed.Fit -The ability to dial in the sizing allowed for a very secure and comfortable fit.Function -It has a fantastic ventilation system that has kept my head cool and sweating to a minimum. I hope I never have to test the MIPs technology. But the dual certification and MIPs has given me the confidence to practice in the bowl.I was so impressed with all of its qualities that I purchased several other helmets from Triple8YEEEWWWWWWW
