   I just installed these on an old single-speed that’s been sitting in a garage for 10+ years. After wrestling with those old tires for a while, sliding these on was a dream. They beaded nicely with minimal massaging. They were tight enough on the rim to ensure a good fit, but not so tight that I needed to use soapy water or even a tire lever.After installation, I ripped around the block a few times. It was a very smooth, very quiet ride. I then went out to the freshly paved main road to see if I could feel any bounce or tread. Smooth. Felt like riding on air.This is the first real pair of replacement tires I’ve ever bought, and after my test ride, I’m confident that I made a great investment.If these tires hold up–and it’s looking good so far–Continental just won themselves another longtime customer.

   I’ve never owned these tires before and after many recommendations I decided to buy a set. I was very surprised at how well they perform. I’d expected sluggish performance as a sacrifice for puncture protection, but I was very happy with the performance and grip. Ran these (700 x 23) at 95psi. I highly recommend this tire as a great road bike tire.Edit: Did a 50mi group ride yesterday and had a flat on rear tire. Was riding a very rough road with plenty of small potholes at the time so it may have been that. And likely a small puncture from the side. Didn’t seem to be a pinch flat.

   I have been purchasing these tires for about three years now. Great durable tires, that also provide for a more comfortable ride on the bumpier roads. I have also not noticed a significant difference from the race tires I previously purchased.

   I have used Continental Gator Skins for years. I purchased these because I wanted a slightly ‘wider’ tire than the 23’s I was riding on These were the 28’s. ( Both sets were 700C). I have only ridden them about 100 miles since purchase, but they have held up well, as I would have expected from my prior experience with Gator Skins. They are my ‘go-to’ tire.

   First ride on my new duraskin tires. I have been using Maxxis Refuse 25cc tires, which are very good. But the duraskins 28cc feel comfortable and the rolling resistance is excellent. I felt like I was floating on the road as I got faster. Looking forward to longer rides and hoping the durability is good!
