Was a bit difficult to install but it looks great on my road bike. So far no punctures even though I have rode over some glass and some pretty damaged pavement. First couple rides felt stiff but felt really comfortable after 3rd ride.

Great tires. I read a few reviews mentioned that it they were hard to be installed. That was not my case, I was able to install them rather quickly without any hassle. They look and ride amazing on my bike. I will update later on about puncture resistance if the issue arises

Bought these tires to replace my Gatorskin Tires. These are durable but hard to install when new. I find that the easiest way install these is use a steel tire lever as they have a slimmer profile.

After about 500 miles, I am very pleased with these tires. I had 3 flats with 300 miles on my previous tires, these are holding up so much better. Highly recommend these tires!

As usual, the best tires on the market.

I’ve used gatorskin tires for years with my older road bike, but switched to the 28’s for my new bike. I was pleasantly surprised when i found the black edition. It matches well with the original tires that came with bike, but is much more puncture resistant.

I am a big fan of the Gatorskin tires. Used them for over 10 years. They provide great flat protection and seem to hold up well without being heavy such as other tires designed for more abuse. I think they are idea for most road use.

I bought a pair of these on the recommendation of an engineer friend whom I would describe as a serious amateur road cyclist. He said they resist punctures. He rides hills, about 5000 miles/year and changes his tires out annually. I ride about half that, essentially flat roads. After about a year my rear tire started developing dimples along the central tread (riding surface), about 1-3 per inch. These tires have 2 wear indicator spots that look like tiny punch marks, and the shallower of the 2 was just starting to show wear. I called my friend to ask him what was up with this, and he said the tire is delaminating, that he had had this happen in the past and that the tire will fail and should be replaced. He still swore by these tires, however. I replaced the rear tire with the same, with some reluctance, but am disappointed that this relatively expensive and generally well-reviewed tire showed this defect.
