This is an adequately constructed shoe that I use on the bike on my trainer. It is not comfortable enough to use one long outside rides and for it to fit snuggly on my foot I have to cinch it up too tight. A low-end priced shoe to use is for short periods and where stability is not essential.

I wear size 9 1/2 street shoes, size 10 hiking boots, and size 44 Shimano off road bike shoes. I was a little concerned about the size offerings on the Amazon page. They had size 9, size 9 1/2-10, and size 10-10 1/2? ??The shoes are packed well in a very nice box and are labeled: 43 EU, 8 3/4 UK, 9 3/4 US. I tried them on with somewhat thick socks (not racing socks) and they fit perfectly. They have enough room in front of my toes to avoid rubbing, so it looks like this is the perfect size.Worth the money.

I own several brands of road shoe from the average price to the high end priced . This Fizik is a great looking shoe in the mid price range .. but falls a little short on fit and finish and quality of components . The shoe has a pattern of holes punched in but as you can see in the first pic some were not completely punched all the way through. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the thin wire used for the BOA system lasts. The 3rd pic shows the BOA system on my white Specialized road shoe that was comparable in price . As you can see, the Specialized system uses a thicker/stronger twisted cable while the Fizik uses a very thin solid wire . The Fizik also came with a paper thin insole that I had to switch out right away….Final thought, a sexy shoe that I hope will last .

Absolutely amazing pair of Cycling shoes, and the sizing is spot on. I wear a Ero size 42 with my Shimano shoes which is a size 9 in US. Look at the sizing chart, it will tell you. Fizik’s sizing chart is identical to Shimano so it was easy for me to get the correct size. You can find cross reference sizing chats for all the name brands online if you need. These shoes snug down perfectly, all the way to the Velcro strap, un-like the similar styled Shimano shoes. Light, comfortable and stylish too.

I love these shoes when I’m on the bike. The BOA system is great (once you figure it out. No instructions were provided on its use) The only complaint I have is that the raised bumpers at the toe and heel that you end up walking on are the same hardness as the rest of the sole and they are absolutely treacherous to walk on hard floors with. I’ve had shoes in the past that had a softer rubber compound for those parts and it provided some grip. I know that the cleat is hard and slippery and I have ordered some cleat covers that will hopefully keep me from slipping on the cleat. Hopefully that will eliminate the problem. Other than that, they run true to size (go to their website and print their sizing guide) and they are comfy when riding. My feet are at 107mm wide which is right at the limit according to the sizing guide. Any wider and they recommend a wide width which I don’t see offered here at amazon.

Great fit compared to my old velcro style shoes. Over a thousand miles in them so far and I love them!

Excellent cycling shoe for the money.
