Well it looks like an elderly mans shoe (NB 577 to be exact) but rides like a banshee.These are the second best all around flats Iβve tried (1st is the Pro Contact that Addidas discontinued).Extremely firm foundation which means no chance of peddle fatigue in your arches, great platform for downhill, I wouldnβt run a marathon in them but theyβre generally comfortable to walk around in, and typical to FiveTen they stick great to your peddals.Positives:- Stiff Sole Foundation- Side wall support- Edge comfort- DH ready- Great for climbing- Cold weather/mud proof- Comfort level 8.5/10Negatives:- No ventilation so not for good for riding over 95F- Heavy (doesnβt matter for all mountain biking but maybe too much for XC)- Aesthetic is 5/10 their not pretty but they do exactly what their made for.Overall great shoe. Unless youβre in 95F + weather you wonβt regret buying them.

Not a mountain biker. Got these for generic riding (7-speed beach cruiser) because my walking flatties were slipping. Fit the need. No slip. These are heavy. Snug fit. almost armored in feel. If you eat crap on a trail, your feet will be fine.

Great MTB Shoes, I like lots of heavy feet protection which canvas lines just don’t offer. My size is 10.5 and for this particular model I ordered size 11 and they fit great, so order half size larger than your regular size. Very Happy with these!

I freakin love this shoe. I bought it because I wanted a shoe with as much height as possible.This shoe grabs to the pedal really well as I donβt ever find my feet slipping.It is super comfortable.Only wish I had purchased size I normally wear as it does lift on me due to extra 1/2 size too large.

Love this shoe. Best mtb flat shoe ever. It just runs a bit small so buy a 1/2 size larger than what you normally wear.
