These shoes are awesome! I recently took up mountain biking again (after 18 years!) and have been riding with friends who’ve been doing it for 25 years. They all told me I needed these shoes to have proper grip on my flat pedals (OneUp’s). I was a bit skeptical about whether a shoe could make a difference. I had some gift cards I needed to use so decided to go for it. Wow, these shoes are so locked in on the pedals it’s amazing! It’s almost like being on clipless pedals/shoes but with the ability to lift your foot off at ant time. As a bonus, they look pretty cool are are comfortable!A note on sizing. For me, they ran small. I wear a 10.5-11 in most shoe brands, for these I needed a 12.

Got my regular size and they fit well. Definitely an upgrade from riding in trainers. Good grip and the sole is stiff which is great for transferring power to pedals. Seem quite durable and no complaints with how they look. They are comfortable while riding and ok to walk those times I wind up having to push the bike.

The shoe is very confortable and most important the grip to the pedal is excellent. I hope the sole resists enough to maintain the grip.

These are great shoes, and while they are not cheap, they are worth it. Very comfortable, sturdy, stick to pedals great. I highly recommend these, best MTB shoes I have tried. And so much better than wearing regular sneakers.

So I loved these right away and they did great. Very grippy, and held to the pedals great. But after about 3 months they started slipping Goff the pedals quite frequently. They are clean and debris free. Very disappointed in the product and would not recommend them. My friend bought a pair of 5.10 also and they have started to do the same thing. Very disappointed in 5.10 now that they sold out to adidas.
