I was a little hesitant to purchase these sandals as I thought the pictures made them look kind of cheap and I was unfamiliar with the Exustar brand. I just took them out for my first ride. It was a short 23 miles, but these are exactly what I wanted. Perfect snug fit thanks to the 4 Velcro straps (especially the back strap). They are shockingly comfortable for just walking around off the bike as well. They also seem like they will be very durable, which was one of my concerns based on the pictures.I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in the perfect sandal for clipless cycling.

I’ve only had these sandals for a week, but I love them! I wear 12EEEE regular street shoes and these size 12.5 M US fit great. They are very adjustable, pretty stiff, which is good for biking, and not too bad for walking off the bike. Once I got the top straps adjusted to my liking, I leave those alone and undo the heel strap to get in and out of them. The only negative is that they’re a little on the heavy side. But I use them on a recumbent trike, and just trike for pleasure and fitness, so the weight is not an issue for me.

Great ventilation when its hot. Great when its cold because I can wear super thick hiking socks. Great when you get wet, because they dry out quickly. I feel safer having the toe coverage in the front. These are the best. Keep buying them so the company keeps making them.

First impression was really heavy. Did not take long to overcome that impression. These are built and are comfortable. No hot foot which is normally a problem for me on 50 mile rides. Not looking forward to going back to a full shoe come cooler weather. Don’t worry about width. These will clamp down on any size width. I know, my wide feet fit perfect. Really do like these.

I’ve wanted a pair of cycling sandals for quite a while but couldn’t find a pair in my size until this popped up….I have big fit and a lot of European sizes just don’t work. Anyhow, these fit perfectly and are quite comfortable with or without socks. Please note that clips are NOT included so you’ll have to buy a pair but they are a cinch to install using just an Allen wrench.

I have problems with width. Years of shoes that were too narrow or just abusing my feet running left me with constant pain. Over the last couple of years I’ve started buying a size up and the widest shoes I can find – that has alleviated much of the foot pain. The velcro straps of these sandals allow me to adjust them quite a bit. I normally wear 11.5-12. I bought the 12.5-13.5 and they fit very well. With winter being here, I’ve mainly been using them for spin class and they seem great – very solid, heavy construction. I also got these because I do multi-day tours in the warmer weather and I think these will make a great replacement for my cleated shoes for the rainy days I invariably encounter. I also like the fact that there is material in the front toe area to protect my foot. I’ve only had them for a couple of weeks but so far, so good. As long as they hold up, I’ll be a very happy customer.Update: I’ve had the shoes for a couple of months now. I’m still only using them for spin classes 3-4 times per week until warmer weather hits. They have been great. Solid construction, nice and wide, comfortable and ability to be adjusted. I am very happy with this shoe.

Ok, Iβm still getting over the fact that I canβt buy Keen bike sandals because they quit making them. I could get 20,000 mile out of a pair of those sandals. So know I am forced to try something new. I just received my new sandals and have used them only a few times. I wear a size 12 EEE shoes with a very high instep. These sandals fit very well and are very comfortable on 50 plus mile rides. I highly recommend these. Time will tell how long they last but I will check back with updates. Remember no news is usually good news. Very good cycling sandals ready to go on Ragbrai.

I love surprises. I previously had the Shimano brand SPD sandals. Everybody knows you canβt go wrong with Shimano, as long as youβre prepared to pay for that quality. I took a chance on these and wow what a pleasant surprise. These sandals are the best damn sandals iβve ever experienced. They even thought of the possibility that you might have a problem with the straps digging in so they put on a rubber flap to protect your tootsies!
