I have been a long time Yakima fan and I decided to try the Timberline towers from Yakima on my new 2018 Toyota Rav4 with raised rails. I immediately hated the way the Yakima Timberline towers looked on the rails and they did not seem to conform to the weirdly shaped rails of the Rav4 very well. I took them back and starting looking at the Thule Raised Rail Evo and the Thule Crossroad towers. The Thule Crossroad towers would have worked but I don’t think I would have liked the look of them on the rails. Also there is something nerve-racking about attaching these to the top of my car using “straps”… So I finally decided to take a chance on the Thule raised rail evo and I can now say that they fit great despite the weird shape of the Rav4’s raised rails. I am using them in combination with the Thule square bars with no issue. I am very happy I took a chance on these, they fit well and look good!I plan on placing my Thule Hullavator pro on these since the Hullavator wasn’t going to work with Toyota’s factory crossbars (the Hullavator needs to extend beyond the towers for adequate clearance.)Hopefully this helps the Rav4 owners out there.

Installed these Thule Raised Rail feet on my 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I needed to upgrade my roof rack to accommodate the Thule Hullavator Pro. With this upgrade I had to buy the Thule Crossbar System. I chose the Evo Wingbars 135 – 53 inches. I used the Fit My Car feature on the Thule website. Thule has these for the same price but I saved on shipping with Amazon Prime. Very happy with the quality and look of it. I bought the black Evo Wingbars and they look great on my Highlander. I also bought the Thule Lock system. Very satisfied!

I spoke with a Thule customer service rep and was assured these would fit my expedition. I purchased these to attach the wing bar evo, and was severely disappointed that the feet were not “deep” enough for the lip to catch the Bottom of the expedition’s railing. Very cool looking setup with the wing bar evo, and overall would be simple to setup – just disappointed that it’s advertised to fit and does not.

Not much more to be said besides it was easy enough for 1 person to install on their own & itβs very sturdy. Done well for trips so far! Took it these with our Thule on a 4,500 mile trip out west & it worked as it should.

love the product: sturdy, easy to install, and looks great. Not sure on the durability though.
