   The rubber on these tires are very grippy and seem to be very durable. The only problem is i ordered two and one of them was easy to put on and the other one was almost impossible but with sweat and determination i manged to get it to fit.

   Got a for a neighbors kids bike. Was even able to pop it on without any tools. Seems to be a decent tire. Price cant be beat.

   If you are buying a 12″ tire, you are likely buying it for a kid’s bike. If your kid rides a 12″ bike, he/she likely uses training wheels. Training wheels accelerate the destruction of your kid’s back tire because they are learning to brake, locking the rear wheel often, and the rear wheel doesn’t make full contact when also supported by training wheels. This rear tire is consumable and does not have any high speed, traction, or impact durability requirements. This tire is a good price, fits easily, and gets the job done just fine. I have had more expensive tires and they did not last any longer. Some lasted less if they were street-tread oriented.

   These tires last about 5-7 years with use several times a day on horse “poop” carts. Our climate (western WA state) goes from hot & dry summers to super wet springs and falls to freezing temps often in Dec-Jan. The tires hold up well carrying heavy loads of horse poop to a central compost pile. The ground is pastures with some brambles/tack weed and crushed concrete “gravel” driveways.These tires are great and inexpensive compared to buying from local bike shops.

   My son needed a new bike tire. The price and durability of this tire is wonderful. He is naturally rough on things and I was not sure it would hold up but it does. I would recommend this purchase to anyone with kids.
