   i’m a little disappointed. Mine came in all scratched up, i added pictures but there is more scratches that i showed. the brand gold color plate came all discolored it looks old not new. The paint scratches off so easily apparently. i thought spending extra to get a nantucket would be worth it but i’m really disappointed that it came looking like it was all worn down when its supposed to be new. The black strap is unraveling and i just opened the box today! the basket would of been perfect and worth the money if the strap was not unraveling, the brand plate was not discolored and if it didn’t have the paint scratched off in multiple places on the basket wire itself. the basket is very sturdy but the strap isn’t at all.

   This basket is exactly for what I was looking for. It’s bigger than I expected and easy to install. It’s secure – no need to use zip ties like another reviewer mentioned. To release the basket from the bracket, you lift the handles up and when putting it back on the bracket, holding the handles up, connect it to the bracket, then fold the handles down and it will “lock” in place. To carry smaller items you’ll need a bag or liner, so I just have a cute floral bag to keep my small things secure.

   Love it! Came perfect and fits great on my cruiser. Btw a little add. 3/8 washers on the top mounting part (handles) does the trick for keeping it secure. My hubs and I tried 2 sizes. 3/8 does the trick!

   The basket arrived and looks adorable on the vintage bike! I love it.It does rattle loose when the ground is overly bumpy, but it has only fallen off once. Otherwise it is pretty secure and the I do like that I can take it off the base to use.

   I got this along with two Nantucket pannier baskets for my beach cruiser to go to the grocery store. I like my wicker baskets in the back better simply because I can just throw anything in them. The sturdiness of this basket is wonderful, it was easy to install, and it easily locks on place so it doesn’t rattle around while riding. The only thing that would be more helpful is a basket liner. You can’t put keys in or even a phone without them falling through. It’s just a matter of planning and instead I bring a backpack with. But if I can find a liner for this it will make it even better!

   Got this for my 9 year old. Very easy to install, basket comes on and off slickly. Looks good. Sturdy. She loves it. I am glad I did not buy a kiddy size basket and went for the adult sized basket. I might get one for myself.

   The basket is pretty good quality and serves its’ purpose. I sewed a custom liner to keep keys and smaller items in. Only issue is the handles can come up during biking which will cause the basket to fall off. Securing with Velcro ties helps, but not well thought out by company.
