PRO-* (the important one)- I’ve tried other tire levers (a bunch of those with excellent reviews), and these have become the ones I use. I’m able to get these between the tire and rim when NONE of my other levers can. (This includes Park Tools, Pedros, Crank brothers, and a few others).β’ Like most, they have a notch to lock on when removing a tire. Less commonly, these also have a mechanism to latch in and slide when installing a tire (only my much larger Crank brothers lever does out of the other levers I own).β’ Compact size & lightweightCONS-β’ they definitely seem less durable than most – like the may be easy to snap if you are not careful. You can hear it sound like it’s going to snap if you put a lot of force on them (enough warning thus far, that I’ve backed off when I hear it and haven’t actually broken one).β’ the clip-in part for installing tire is a bit hard to push out. (The Crank brothers lever works better than the Schwalbe at this part of the job, but is too large to want to carry in repair kit.)(note 2: my other levers don’t have this at all).β’ They don’t nest/snap together like many levers do (mine are rubber-banded together)(but [1] neither do my 2nd favorite levers and [2] these are fairly small and light compared to others).

Holy Tintinnabulation, Batman! These levers are absolute life savers. So I spent about a week and purchased about 3-4 different levers to help me put on the world’s tightest tire on the world’s tightest wheelset. Sufficie it to say, I was feeling a bit deflated after these failed attempts. But there is hope for those trying to fit the Continental 5000 TL on a tight wheelset. These are your levers!!Some reviewers commented that these act like the third hand. That’s incredibly accurate. Once I got these puppies, I played around with them a bit to see how to use them and I had that tight SOB on there in seconds – using all three levers. I flanked the tight section with two levers and pried the remaining lever under the Kevlar bead and BAM! On like Donkey Kong.I couldn’t believe it. These levers truly reinflated my hopes of being able to ride tubeless with ease if ever a road repair need be made. The only thing is, I haven’t quite mastered how to remove a tire with these, but I think a bit more practice and I’ll get it. Even if I have to carry additional levers, I’m totally fine with it. Love these.Continental 5000 owners, look no further, you have arrived at the perfect lever. Now, regarding their durability. I did find they were a bit bendier than the traditional hard plastic levers, but I feel that adds a bit of allure to these as they don’t feel like they’d damage your wheel or gash up your rim tape. The low profile definitely gives them the edge they need to sneak behind the bead and slip out without the risknof being pinched. I think they should hold up well over time, but that remains to be seen.If you simply just want the enlase of use for tire installation, I’d go this route. Hands down.

They are not bullet proof, (I have broken a set), but they are pretty strong. I use them for tubeless, and the little clip, if nothing else, helps immensely. The trick for tight tires (Continential5000 TL) is to use all 3.One clipped on, to keep from chasing the tire off the rim, one to pry tire on, and the third clipped on, just behind the section you just pried on, and keep sliding it over as you pry the tire on. Also take small bites at a time.

I purchased these levers after seeing a YouTube demonstration . I was trying to fit the dreaded Continental 5000’s on a set of Campagnolo Bora WTO’s. This combination of tire and wheel is about the same as trying to split an atom in your living room . I I snapped off 2 of the Conti levers that came with the tubes and my set of Pedro’s levers were useless as they were too thick . I called my local shop after being frustrated and they gave me a price to install the tires….They said it would be a higher price once I told them the tire/wheel brand combo was Conti 5000/Bora WTO…. these slim levers did the job although it still took about 10 mins for each wheel. All three levers were needed as 2 lock onto the rim and the 3rd is used to finally flip the last inch of rubber over the rim .

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure I even needed these to change my tube. I don’t have a ton of experience with bicycle tires but I have been changing the tires on my motorcycle for many years so I knew the basic process. I wish motorcycle tires were half as easy. I have 27.5+ tires on my bike and I needed to change out the tube. These levers helped get the job done nice and quick without fanfare.

I will be using these plastic levers on my carbon fiber bicycle wheel did not want to use steel levers.

Spent many years using flat head screwdrivers and bought these for my daughters bike. Makes a tube change a little bit faster.

Nice wide and well made.
