For the North Carolina terrain – mix of dirt and rock boulders – these tires are perfect. I feel confident in the traction they provide on a variety of surfaces. They set will in my rim (tubeless) and hold air very well. Love these tires and recommend them.Front and back mounted on a Spot Rocker 27.5 SS with Gates Carbon Belt Drive System

I wanted the Dual compound 60 tpi tire described here but what I received is made from 3C MAXX TERRA with 120 tpi. Confused, I checked the Maxxis website and it turns out that’s the only version of this tire the company makes in this specific size which means this product description describes a tire that does not exist!I haven’t mounted the tire yet and it may prove to be a great tire but I wanted something more durable and the rubber on this is very soft. I’m sure it will perform well but won’t likely have the durability I was looking for.Seller, please fix your descriptionUpdate: I have now riden about a 100 miles of rough trail on this tire now. Slashed the sidewall on my second ride and Stan’s tubeless tire sealant wasn’t able to fill the gash. I was able to cover the hole after unmounting the tire and placing a patch on the inside. I have been riding it ever since and its performance is excellent. It is wearing faster than I hoped it would and has already lost some its new tire gripyness. I will probably get another one even though the seller has yet to fix their inaccurate description.

I just received the tire and i’m happy to report that it was everything it was described to be. I was a little leery based off another review stating otherwise. But once i pulled it out of its mesh pack and unfolded it, sure enough it was a the Plus size DHR II i was looking for – 27.5 x 2.8, DUAL Compound, EXO/TR, 60 TPI.This is my first go with this tire (DHF is coming tomorrow) and is replacing one of the stock WTB Rangers that came on my Timberjack. I’m super stoked and looking forward to running these as soon as the season starts up!

Bought them for the 2.8β. Surprised that they are only 2.6β wide.ReplacedMy older 2.35β tires (which measure 2.35β easily) with these. Hoping to get better grip in the snow. Will update after a few rides to see how they work. But based on this measurement of the width I feel like some false marketing.

Best rear tire on the market. Paired with the DHF in front you find yourself pushing the limits on corners! Great tires! Maxxis is the best!

Great 27.5 plus tire. Very aggressive . Maxxis has other good tires to choose but if you’re looking for max traction, this is the one. Sells from Back Country. Top notch store!
