First the bad. This tire is pretty bad on the wet stuff. Even on small puddles and damp spots they will walk out on you.I have these installed on a ebike and they are excellent on paved roads, gravel paths and hard pack dirt. Basically similar to a bmx bike tire for a mtb. Rolls fast, strong, lots of tread, durable.One of the best attributes of the tire is the turn in. I ran 3 other sets of tires and the added weight of the ebike made turn in feel sketchy. These are smooth and round so the transition is more predictable. Totally fine on steep stuff as well.

These knobbies have a flat surface, as if they were cut in half to create a smooth riding surface on the road, but still ride great off road as well. Very nice and quiet rolling while on the road, very smooth riding off road.

I ride mostly on asphalt but like to have at least a little grip when I go off road. This is a good compromise for both road and trail.

I notice a lot of ebike tire companies trying to copy the checker board tread pattern, but I will stick to the original! I have these mounted to 50 lbs ebike. All though my friends say my bike weighs more like 100 lbs. I’m a bad judge of weight. 30 psi on a 26 x 2.5 is awesome! If I’m racing I use 40 psi.
