Mo the human –
This tire offers amazing grip and super confidence in rock, loose over hard pack, mud or roots. The only downside is that the huge knobs occasionally pick up a pebble and fling it in the air. I ride with a front fender, so itβs not an issue up front. I tried one on the back also, and it was so close to hitting the frame that when pebbles kick up in the rear, they hit the frame loudly. (2019 scott spark 960 says it can handle a 2.6 tire, but this one is too close) I would love it as a front and rear tire if my frame had more space. TRACTION FOR DAYS!!!

Great mtb tire no complaints

Put these on my Marin Hardtail and it became a whole new bike. Super grippy and makes me extremely confident in any conditions with grip for days. I run them in front and rear now.
Nathan S. –
Haven’t found a better tire for my local riding. I’ve tried quite a few and keep coming back to the Assegais for the front. The cornering traction is unreal.

I’ve been a die hard DHF rider for the past couple of years and I decided to try this out. Worked great if not better in the conditions that I was riding. (sloppy mud and hard pack) considering getting another for the rear.
William –
Nice sticky tire. However, that means it will wear down faster ) as expected.). WAAAYYY BETTER then the butcher tires that were on my bike
Coach Sugi –
Assegai is the best front tire in the game IMO. MaxxTerra compound makes it even better and still last a long time if used as a front tire.
