I run the 2.5 tires front and back on my hard tail and full suspension bike. I was running 2.4 Ardents front and back and love those on dry flow trails but the aggressors are better for everyday situations. I weigh 175-180 lbs geared up, running 18-20 psi in the front and 20-22 psi in the back with cushcores on both wheels. The tire suspension and grip you get with the aggressors is unmatched if you’re using tire inserts. The aggressive look and tread pattern remind me of the BFGoodrich All Terrain truck tires. They just look and ride awesome.

I got these for my TREK Stache 7 to replace the original Bontragers, whose tread was wearing down. Intending them for primarily winter use, I had installed them a month ago but had only ridden them once, in icy slush. Yesterday we had 3″ of fresh snow and 20ΒΊ, so I took them out for 5 miles on back roads to see how they handled hard pack snow and rough ice (at 66 I try to stay off of glare ice). I was quite pleased with how well they hooked up on my preferred riding surfaces, and the little bit of extra width (2.5″ from 2.3″) gives just a little bigger footprint. I ran them tubeless at 30 psi. front & 20 psi. rear. Really good tires for my winter riding.

The best tire I have used when riding in rough rocky trails.

These are great MTB tires. I ride on AZ dirt/rock trails and these tires work very well. I used them for a tubless conversion and have zero issues.

Better than what I had. Even able to increase tire pressure and still have some grip. Go with the Minon if you want max traction. I like a little slip, in the rear.

So far I donβt have any complaint on the tires. Been putting through the paces in a rock desert with loads of force from drops and jumps.
