   Great basket, very attractive and a perfect size! Will hold a considerable amount (5-6 books, or a pretty good amount of groceries, though you don’t want anything on the front of your bike to be too heavy…). My bike is white, so the white basket is just the ticket, and because it is not wicker it will stand up to the elements quite well presumably; also presumably can be cleaned with a strong jet from a hose if it gets dirty. 4 rather than 5 stars simply because I find the cables from the speed regulator, coming down from the right side of the handlebar, tend to shove the basket a bit to the left, off center. When it’s full this may not be as noticeable.

   I kept looking at the more expensive wicker baskets but the reviews were mostly horrible- they broke all the time, wore out, bottom fell out, etc. This one is plastic but looks like painted wicker, I guess. I love it! Waterproof, really great quality, heavy wicker- the lake and summer storms had no effect on it. Held a ton of stuff over the summer, too! My little 5 lb. Yorkie fits well into it also with plenty of room to spare for a towel, water bottle, etc. I have a mostly-black Raleigh and this black basket looks great on it, too! I’m completely happy with my purchase, but I’ve only had it one summer season so far so will update my review if it doesn’t continue to impress. The only possible future downfall is the leather straps that come with it aren’t the thickest leather, so far so good but with weathering the straps might wear out earlier than the actual basket. If so, they are easily replaceable, though.2020 update: Basket still going strong! My little Yorkie still goes out with me in it, along with a heavy battery charger for my iPhone so I can listen to my books while I ride, and sometimes extra water, my doggie’s blanket so she can comfortably snuggle down when she wants (our rides are loooong) and other things at times. Despite all the weight it’s holding up perfectly, and still looks wonderful! During COVID-19 we have biked a lot but the basket is no worse for wear since purchasing. I do store my bike in the garage. I don’t remove the basket when toting my bike on the car, though. It’s travelled pretty far without issues on the back of our Foresters.

   This basket is aesthetically very cute and big. The problem with this is a few things:-The basket is a tiny bit too big to fit between Schwinn bike handlebars, which means it tilts to one side and has to be constantly adjusted. It was also big enough that it disrupted my front brake (by moving around the brake cable) and I had to get it readjusted by a bike shop.-The basket huge and can contain so much, but is not sturdy enough for anything too heavy. So it could technically fit a grocery bag full of food, but the basket will drag down on your front wheel because of the weight. This could probably be fixed with a bar attached to the basket, holding it up on the bottom.

   Really cute and large basket fits any adult bike, but also good on my 8 year old’s smaller bike. She can carry her jacket and her American Girl doll and a water bottle just fine :). Made of real wicker, but is sturdy enough that when her bike falls over the basket doesn’t break. Still looks great even after months of being left out in the sun and rain.

   I love this basket so much! It is roomy, sturdy, and durable. Very useful, especially on a long ride. Eliminates the need to ever carry a backpack. It was hard to find one to fit on my E bike because there are so many wires and gadgets, but this one fits great.
