   We are suffering a rash of car thefts and mine is likely a prime target. I did not want to get ‘the club’ because I know it would have ended up being a PitA to constantly shuffle around in the car, wont fit under the seat, will displace passengers and as a result will get tossed around the car and eventually in the trunk. So I got this long cable and am able to run it through the seat frame and up through the steering wheel. Its flexible so I can get into the seat without issue. Once in, I unlock it, then roll it up, under the seat where there is not DVD or nav player. When I park, I can reach for the two ends and bring them up to my side and through the wheel. Works great! I’ll probably paint the lock head a bright color so it is more obvious discouragement. Oh, and its a great lock for bikes too!

   I don’t like that the negative reviews warned me not to keep it outside, and ummm I have to keep it outside!! Is it going to rust?? Lock up and need to be sawed off?? What???

   Lock looks sturdy and love the way it coils around your bike again after use and does not tangle. The lock opens and locks smoothly. Like all other locks in the market, this is just a deterrent lock and not cut-proof. Any determined thief with a bolt-cutter can cut this lock.

   1. Cheap – enough to buy two – one for a friend. Perfect 5/52. Solid – Really hard to clip, steel cable – good luck snipping or cutting. Would take large bolt cutter. Perfect 5/53. Key form factor. Fast 3 second lock or unlock. Coils for easy tow or pack it up. Long when uncoil to lock how you want. Perfect 5/54. Simple. Unlock a combination lock which is slow and also flawed prone to bricking when resetting the code, this is two key, could leave them in different places and since you have two, easy immediate use with no training or imperfect instructions. Perfect 5/5Great, affordable product overall. Hard to ever be dissatisfied with these.
