I bought this to carry two bikes while pulling my 23′ travel trailer. My trailer does not have a receiver hitch, so it was either the Jack-it or using bed space in my truck. The Jack-it has turned into a perfect solution, using space that nothing else what using! When does that ever happen when RVing? The Jack-it is super stable, because the tongue of the trailer has very little movement, and way less than the super bouncy back of the trailer. I can see the bikes all the time in my rear view mirror, and they barely move. No worries!ALSO! I bought the Bump-it receiver hitch adapter, so when we get to a camp site and we want to take the truck to a trailhead to go biking, the bike rack goes right onto the back of the truck. Like two bike racks in one. This is great for me, because the bed of my truck is loaded with my generator, sewer tote, other storage totes, my inflatable kayak, etc. I want all that stuff secure under my tonneau cover while I’m off biking. All-in-all, this is a great system if you have an LCI power tongue jack.Downside: You have to lift the bikes over your head to get them on the bike rack when it’s mounted on the trailer. I actually bring a painters three step ladder to help me with that. One more thing for the back of the truck.

It was “fun” installing it. My local RV dealer would have installed it for $50, if I bought it from them. It took me about 4 hours to install, mount and position all the parts. Pro tip; the jack has to be removed to install the rack base, put trailer on the hitch. You then don’t have to jack up and brace the trailer. This type of rack is configured to put 1 bike to the back of the rack and one in front. It is very difficult to use the back mount it requires you to lift the bike up to head height and extend it over the propane tanks This is beyond my 73 year old self. Luckily I only transport one bike on my trailer. If you are younger, stronger or have help you should be able to put a bike on the back side of the rack.

We love the bike rack sturdiness and easy to install but do not buy if your trailer doesnt slope backwards in the front giving you the extra space which may be needed. The manufacturer does sell a straight bar called a Stinger but doesnt stock it so you may have to wait before getting it but tack on another $41. You can flip the Stinger the opposite way but if you are towing with a SUV, the bikes may hit when turning. Not sure why the manufacturer doesnt include the Stinger adaptor to use either option with the kit. We are patiently waiting for the part but I would recommend an in depth review before you purchase. We have an e-pro camper and this wont work for ours.

This rack is very sturdy. Gets the bikes out of the way. Only down side is getting the bike on the back side. But I figure if there are 2 bikes there are 2 people so the 2nd person can help load the bike

Extremely well made and super easy to install. Absolute must for transporting bikes on travel trailer.

This is well built, and the design lets the bikes be more stable and visible through the rear-view mirror. It is made by the same company (Lippert) that made the frame for my trailer so the install is under an hour. The height the bike hangers is considerable considering most newer trailers are higher off the ground to start. You will want to eat your Wheaties or do a team lift to mount and dismount the bikes.

This rack may not fit your trailer and in that case you can choose to return it or modify as I did. See photos.Instead of mounting flat to the trailer hitch as intended I chose to mount it over a couple of bolts in the way toward the trailer side. Then grind out slots to fit over bolts toward the coupler. I used washers to level everything.Fortunately the replacement jack bolts were long enough to allow this to work. The final outcome is relatively stable but not ideal.I asked customer support if they had any solutions like spacers for common trailers such as my 2021 Lance 1575. They do not!Very puzzling since this must happen frequently and result in a lot of returns. Even a list of trailers this rack will fit without modification would have been helpful.

I had a ladder bike rack but it wasnβt very reliable. Saw the Jack-It on another TT and the loved it. Installation was a breeze. Took a while to βfitβ both bikes and adjust. Down side would be having to use two people to load and unload the rear bike. Iβm going to attach a pole to the brace and put a pulley on it. Also bought the bar to use as a bike rack for my truck. Spent less than half the price of the other brands and am very satisfied.
