   I am a small adult (female) and found this helmet to be larger than expected.It took all the padding (supplied) to make it fit snugly (as a helmet should to function preoperly). It arrived quickly, in good shape. I haven’t hit the ground wearing it so I can’t comment on how it protects overall. Cute, functional accessory to go with my small-wheeled hobbies. Good size to lug around when not being worn for proper use.

   Very stylish helmet. My 7yo girl really liked it. There is very little adjustment with the two included neoprene pads, so it’s s loose fit even on minimum. It is made for a larger head size, so would not recommend for smaller heads. Protects well & looks good. We use this for ice skating, roller blading & cycling.

   I loved it until a few hours ago. It’s 3am, Christmas. Kids will soon be racing to the tree.I’d purchased this helmet as a useful gift to put under the tree for our 6 year old daughter, who has recently outgrown her “small” helmet. Until a few hours ago, I really loved it- quality, design, decent price, everything… I thought the graphics looked really lovely, and it’s a white background- which increases the visibility of the helmet to drivers, as opposed to a dark color. I thought the design would really appeal to her, while not being too syrupy looking. You know, a “big girl helmet” to replace her pink kitty cat Raskulls one. Yada yadda… These were my “mommy picked a great helmet” thoughts.So anyway, i thought it was great until a few hours ago, when my husband picked it up as one of the last things in the pile of gifts to wrap. He said, “Oh, this is a nice design. It looks just like it’s all cracked and smeared with blood.”Sigh. He’s right, I totally see it now. In fact, I can hardly see it as cherry blossoms any more.So, I’m writing this review because I’ve had to pluck this gift back out from under the tree. Honestly, I really can’t find any fault with the helmet. I still see it as worth 5 stars. The graphics are actually awesome in that they can look like lovely cherry blossoms, AND bloody cracks. However, I just can’t un-see the bloody cracks, and I personally can’t stomach the image of it on my kindergartener’s head as she rides her bike.So, it’s awesome, but just not right for us. Merry Christmas.

   The padding is thin on the inside and is uncommon to wear. The color has faced very quickly and is very dull now. I bought this for my daughter’s birthday 2 months ago. It looks to be older than that bu about 2 years. Rather disappointing really, I bought it for the safety though. It has held up on thay end. My daughter is very tipsy let’s say, she has crashed a few times and it has held up nicely head wise. Worth the price for the safety of it all.
